The Method:
During the treatment Anti-Wrinkle injections will be injected into the patient’s face, this relaxes the contraction of facial muscles by blocking nerve impulses. Since these muscles will no longer be able to contract, the face relaxes and this softens and reduces wrinkles and creases in the skin. Getting Anti-Wrinkle injections only takes only a few minutes. You won’t need anaesthesia although a topical numbing treatment may be used if requested.
Our clinician uses a small needle to inject this treatment into specific muscles with only minor discomfort.
The Results:
The results of Anti-Wrinkle injection treatments typically begin to appear within a few days after the injection. However, the full results may not be visible for about 1 – 2 weeks, so it is important to wait an adequate amount of time before seeking a touch-up treatment. Aftercare:
You can go right back to your job or normal life straight after this procedure. There is very little downtime involved.
Immediately after your treatment, you may notice small red bumps. These will resolve in 20-30 minutes. Bruising is always a possibility. If you bruise, this will be very minimal and should resolve after a couple of days.
