Also commonly known as ‘the liquid nose-job or the ’15 min nose-job this procedure is sought after and gaining a lot of attention in the press, for its quick, effective, and immediate results.
Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is often sought out by those that are unhappy with the shape and contour of their nose and want to improve its look without the commitment and intensity of traditional surgical intervention.
Most concerns people have with their noses include small bumps in the nose, slight hooks in their nose, drooping or downward tips, lack of volume, or even uneven shaping.
Noses are a common area that people want improvements, being so prominent on our faces they are a common cause for concern with those that just wish they could improve this feature, both face on and in profile.
Non-surgical Rhinoplasty treatment is great for someone who may want to avoid having surgical treatments to align the nose proportionally to the face. Using carefully placed dermal filler, our advanced team can really help straighten the nose and reduce any bumps or dips. This procedure is very advanced and a thorough consultation is needed before the procedure is carried out.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a safe, non-invasive alternative to traditional surgical rhinoplasty. The procedure uses injectable fillers, most commonly hyaluronic acid, to alter and shape a person’s nose without invasive surgery.
AMS Aesthetics are expertly trained in all areas of non-surgical rhinoplasty and as one of the most sought-after procedures we offer, have extensive experience in this treatment with exceptional results.
The procedure for liquid rhinoplasty is relatively simple, especially compared to surgical rhinoplasty.
Following a further consultation where you discuss your desired results, your doctor will have you lie down with your face tilted up. You may have a topical anaesthetic applied to your nose and the surrounding area so you won’t feel pain from the needle.
After the anaesthetic takes effect, your doctor will inject the filler into the area around your nose and maybe the bridge of your nose itself. You might feel a slight pinching or pressure while this is done. Nose fillers are a series of small injections of hyaluronic acid gel which will are applied to the soft tissue in the nose to shape, straighten and contour.
The whole process can take from 15 minutes or less to 45 minutes.
The results will be instant and should last roughly 12 months. After liquid rhinoplasty, you may see pain, swelling, and redness where your injection was inserted. Within an hour or two, the injection should start to settle, the redness should start to subside, and you’ll be able to better see your desired results – which are pretty amazing!
One of the key benefits of the non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure is that there is literally no downtime required after having the treatment. You can get back to work, and normal life immediately afterward. It is advised, if possible, to refrain from wearing sunglasses, or nonessential eyewear for a day or so afterward. For 1-2 days after the treatment, you should also avoid touching the injected areas, wearing makeup, contact sports, and being exposed to extreme heat (like saunas).
